Something Special: Kasias erstes Solo-Konzert

Hand aufs Herz – lang, lang ist's her. Die Show. Jemma. Und viele Träume sind mit dieser Zeit verbunden. Einer davon ging für manchen Fan am 17. März 2018 in Wuppertal in Erfüllung...

Hand aufs Herz - it's been a long, long time. The show. Jemma. And a lot of dreams are attached to this time. One of them came true for many a fan on March 17th 2018 in Wuppertal...

Von Anfang an war die Atmosphäre im kleinen Kontakthof in Wuppertal gemütlich, sehr intim und geradezu magisch aufgeladen. „Ich habe lange hierauf gewartet“, gestand Kasia, und ergänzte lachend: „Und ihr natürlich auch." Dass sie sich gar nicht so auf der Bühne sähe, sagte sie, wobei sie wie immer mit viel Gefühl und starker Stimme brillierte. Mit dabei hatte sie Tim Remmers an der Gitarre. Gemeinsam bildeten sie nicht nur ein musikalisches, sondern auch ein humorvolles Team. Ständig wurde gelacht – auf der Bühne, im Publikum, definitiv regelmäßig bei dem Satz: „So hatten wir das gar nicht geprobt.“ Die beiden improvisierten und groovten passend zur Stimmung des Publikums. Jedes Lied bekam so einen eigenen, neuen und einmaligen Touch. Auch Kasia selbst wirkte oft verblüfft, wie und wohin sich die Songs letztendlich live entwickelten.

Doch nicht nur die Musik brachte an diesem Abend unsere Fanherzen zum Pochen.

Zwischen den Liedern geriet Kasia immer wieder spontan ins Erzählen und beschenkte uns mit persönlichen Einblicken. Speziell und besonders sei es für sie, dass wir so lange nach HaHe noch da sind. „Ich habe wirklich keine Ahnung gehabt, was ich mit der Rolle Emma ausgelöst habe. Ich wollte einfach gut spielen. Und dann kam auf einmal diese tolle Reaktion von außen, die man nicht erwartet.“ Schon immer wollte sie Menschen mit ihrem Gesang und Schauspiel Hoffnung machen.

Beim Soundtrack von HaHe gefiel ihr die Mischung aus sehr modernen Songs und Oldies. „Ich fand die Serie sowieso toll. Nicht nur, weil ich mitgespielt habe.“ Soziale Themen wurden angesprochen und ernst genommen. Als Emma durfte sie ein Mädchen darstellen, das Angst hatte, sich zu zeigen, wie sie ist. Den Song „Just The Way You Are“ widmete Kasia an diesem Abend allen, die endlich entdecken, dass sie etwas sehr Wertvolles sind – egal, was andere da draußen sagen.

Das Lied „Keinen Zentimeter“ sang sie speziell für Dennis Schigiol, mit dem sie eine besondere Freundschaft verbindet. „Er kann so viel mehr als Hotte.“ Auch ihre Zeit auf Mallorca und ihre Auftritte dort sprach Kasia an. „Ich freue mich, dass ich wieder hier bin – im schönen, kalten Deutschland.“ Sonne und Strand hatte sie gerne wieder zurückgetauscht für neue Perspektiven als Künstlerin.

Ein Motto war Kasia für den Abend besonders wichtig. „Habt Spaß!“ Mindestens einen wollte sie tanzen sehen. Diese Bitte erfüllten wir ihr gerne. Spätestens beim letzten Song auf der Liste „Talkin‘ Bout A Revolution“ wurde freudig mit- und zurückgesungen bzw. gewispert. Ihr Publikum stand und gierte nach einer Zugabe. „Chasing Cars“ lautete schließlich der Wunsch. Tja. Und nun? Diesen Song hatte Kasia weder geplant noch geübt. Doch Tim kramte die Akkorde ohne Probleme aus seinem Kopf hervor. Die textsicheren HaHe-Fans schmetterten los und Kasia stimmte mit ein. Wahnsinn! Das improvisierte Miteinander zwischen Künstlerin und Publikum zeigte deutlich den speziellen Charakter dieses Konzerts. Ein runder Nostalgie-Abend mit Flashbacks, Gänsehaut und Humor. Und vor allem: Spaß!

Im Anschluss nahm sich Kasia noch Zeit für jeden, der ein Foto oder Autogramm wollte. Etwas „kaputt“ sei sie nun doch, gestand sie. Aber wie man ihr ansah doch auch superglücklich.

Hiermit sagen wir aus tiefem Herzen Danke für diesen unvergesslichen Abend und drücken hoffnungsvoll die Daumen, auf dass es noch weitere Konzerte von Kasia geben mögen.

The atmosphere in the small Kontakthof venue in Wuppertal was relaxed from the start, very intimate and downright magically charged. "I've waited for this a long time", Kasia admitted and added with a laugh: "And so have you, of course." She told the audience that she didn't really see herself onstage but delivered as ever a brilliant performance with a lot of feeling and a strong voice. She was accompanied by Tim Remmers on guitar. Together they were not only a musical, but also a humorous, team. There was lots of laughter - onstage, in the audience, and regularly after the phrase: "That's not really how we rehearsed it." The two of them improvised and jammed in sync with the mood of the audience. So every song got its own new and unique touch. Even Kasia seemed often surprised about how and where the songs developed live in the end.

But the music wasn't the only thing that started our fan-hearts beating double-time.

Between songs Kasia would talk spontaneously and gift us with insights into her personal thoughts. She thought it special and rare that we were still there this long after HaHe ended. "I just had no idea what I set into motion with the role of Emma. I just wanted to act well. And then suddenly there came this unexpected awesome external reaction." She always wanted to give hope to people with her singing and acting.

What she liked about the HaHe soundtrack was the mix of very modern songs and oldies. "I really liked the show anyway. Not only because I was a part of it." Social issues were broached and taken seriously. As Emma she was allowed to portrait a girl who was scared to show openly who she really was. Kasia dedicated the song "Just the way you are" to all who are finally discovering that they are something very precious - no matter what anyone else out there says.

The song "Keinen Zentimeter" was sung especially for Dennis Schigiol, with whom Kasia shares a special friendship. "He can do so much more than Hotte." Kasia also mentioned her time spent in Mallorca and her gigs there. "I'm happy that I'm back here again in beautiful, cold Germany." She gladly exchanged sun and beach for new perspectives as an artist.

Kasia had one basic motto for this evening. "Have fun!" She wanted to see at least one person dance. And we were happy to grant her wish. By the time the last song on her list, "Talking about a revolution", rang out, people happily sang (and whispered) along. Her audience was on their feet and hungered for an encore. "Chasing Cars" ended up being the request. Well. And now what? Kasia had neither planned nor practiced this song. But Tim dug up the chords from his memory without much difficulty. The word-perfect HaHe fans started belting out the lyrics and Kasia joined in. Awesome! This improvised interplay between artist and audience really showed the special nature of this concert. A nostalgic evening with flashbacks, goose bumps and humor. And most of all: Fun!

Afterwards, Kasia also took time for everyone who wanted a photo or an autograph. She admitted that she was now indeed somewhat exhausted. But you could also see that she was super happy.
